Bertie Le Roux's legacy is built on innovation, problem-solving, and leadership in diverse industries. From finance to education, publishing to executive coaching, he is surely a driving force as a true leader.

He has a Bachelor’s and honours degrees in Business and Administration from the University of Stellenbosch and a four-year higher Education Diploma from the University of Stellenbosch. He is also a Certified Professional Speaker from the Public Speaking University and Professional Speakers Academy and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). 

Bertie has over 50 years of life experience and brings a wealth of insight beyond conventional coaching and mentoring. His career has been built on adaptability, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.

He feels that while the world is evolving at an unprecedented pace, fundamental truths about success remain unchanged. Self-awareness, clarity of purpose, and strategic action are critical in shaping one's career trajectory. He is a deeply passionate and empathetic individual, highly intuitive, and driven by the need to connect with and uplift others. His natural ability to sense and understand people allows him to engage in meaningful conversations, whether one-on-one or speaking to a larger audience.

He follows the principles of Whole-Brain Thinking, adapting his communication style to suit different personalities and situations. Effective communication, for him, is not about controlling the conversation but about active listening—understanding not just what is said but also what remains unsaid. He integrates both verbal and nonverbal communication techniques to ensure clarity, engagement, and impact. 

One example of his career was as managing director of Map Studio, a leading map publisher in South Africa. Years before the political transition, he developed a strategic plan anticipating a new era for the country. He says, “Our company was uniquely positioned to respond instantly when change came, producing publications overnight and achieving extraordinary profitability.” 

Beyond corporate success, his most fulfilling experiences have been guiding individuals toward self-discovery, purpose, and fulfilment. Many of his clients have undergone profound transformations—not just in their careers but in their entire approach to life.

Another challenge he mentions is balancing his natural inclination to mentor and advise with the need to let the client find their solutions through coaching. It's easy to offer answers based on his experience, but the true power of coaching lies in empowering the client to discover their path forward.
